On the occasion of the Museum Night Fever, Offscreen presents at Bozar a two hour animated film compilation of trailers  and fragments from all nooks and crannies of global cinema, introduced (in English) by horror and cult expert Jan Doense (renowned for the cult & trash movie road show “The Night of Bad Taste”) in cooperation with collector par excellence Michael Helmerhorst.  From old-fashioned handiwork to computer animation, from puppetoon to clay figures and anime: all techniques and disciplines pass in review. Featuring porn toons from primeval times, caricatures and stereotypes in commercial cartoons, agit & antiprop, animated comics that need reanimation, half-baked rip-offs, artsy fartsy & underground stuff, and gawky animation as added value of cheaply made live action.
