VIEWMASTER wants to vitalize the summer evenings in Ghent with surprising and free open air screenings on special locations. This year the new constructed DOK beach is the place to be. The setting in itself provides the leitmotif; five view masters give, by their choice of film, their interpretation of the following theme: SAND.

The Offscreen Film Festival was asked to pick one. Our choice went without hesitation to the Japanese masterpiece WOMAN IN THE DUNES.
