"Night School" tells the misdeeds of a serial killer with a penchant for decapitation running loose on the streets of Boston (home of "The Boston Strangler"). This is a classic American slasher with roots in Italian giallo. "Night School" is also one of the rare slashers to feature the classic black-leather clad transalpine assassin.

"Fear City" takes place in New York (home of "The New York Ripper"), Abel Ferrara's favorite city and the ideal hunting ground for a serial killer who targets strippers.
